COVID-19 Update

What to expect during your appointment?

For your safety and the safety of our students and staff, please be aware that the following protocols are being followed by all patients who are visiting our Denture Clinic.

  • On the day of your appointment, complete our online Pre-screening for COVID-19 symptoms before you arrive for your appointment. (Click here to complete the Covid-19 Screening)
  • Physical distancing will be promoted between patients. You will need to notify the school or the student when you arrive for your appointment, and only enter the campus when directed. Only the person receiving treatment will be allowed into the school, with a few exceptions such as a legal guardian or caregiver, who should also be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and risk factors.
  • Temperature will be taken with a non-contact, infrared thermometer when you arrive for your appointment as well as anyone accompanying you.
  • You must wear a mask to your appointment.
  • You will need to use hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the campus and the denture clinic. You will also be asked to use a mouth rinse before any procedure.
  • Waiting rooms will have fewer chairs and those chairs will be placed to ensure physical distancing.
  • Waiting rooms will not have magazines, toys, or other common objects to help prevent contamination.
  • All students and staff members will be wearing proper PPE. Examples of what PPE to expect are masks, face shields, and scrubs/clinical coat.
